John Adams



American composer John Adams (b. 1947). Studied at Harvard and in 1972 teacher at the San Francisco Conservatory. A composer with strong roots in minimalism. His most known work is the opera 'Nixon in China'. In 2004 the British Academy presented him with a Fellowship of the Academy.
