Samuel Adler

German-born American composer Samuel Adler (born 1928) came to the USA in 1939. He studied music at Boston and Harvard universities and during his period of military service he founded and conducted the Seventh Army Symphony Orchestra. Adler has written extensively in many different genres and has received numerous prestigious commissions.
