Per Nörgård



Danish composer Per Nörgård (b. 1932). As a young man h studied with the composer Vagn Holmboe. An enormously influential figure in Danish musical life, both as a major composer and as a teacher and musical theorist. He has written in every imaginable genre, from full-scale operas and symphonies to simple hymns and solo pieces.
