Johann Adam Reincken



German composer Johann Adam Reincken (1623-1722).
Organist in the Katharinenkirche in Hamburg. A brilliant organist and improviser. According to contemporary sources his private life was not of similar calibre and in historical terms Reincken's greatest achievement in the eyes of posterity may well be that he managed to live to the age of 99.
