Wolfgang Rihm



German composer Wolfgang Rihm (born 1952) is an esteemed composer of stage, orchestral, choral, vocal, piano and chamber works. In 1970 he attended the Darmstadt Summer courses for the first time and has since 1978 been teaching at these courses. Since 1982 member of the Board of the German Composers' Association and since 1985 professor of composition at the Karlsruhe Music Academy.
