Claes Janson

Claes Janson (born 1947) began his career as a folk singer and in 1967 was a founding member of the group ‘Good Morning Blues’. Since the mid-1970s Claes Janson has mainly pursued a solo career in jazz and blues, in Sweden and internationally. He collaborates with some of Sweden’s foremost musicians in his field, including Kjell Öhman, Georg Riedel, Arne Domnerus, Jan Allan and Anders Widmark, and has received a number of awards for his artistry.
