Solveig Kringelborn

The Norwegian soprano Solveig Kringelborn’s (born 1963) international career has included numerous appearances at the BBC Proms in London’s Royal Albert Hall, tours with such eminent orchestras as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and performances at festivals such as Edinburgh and Glyndebourne. She has also sung at some of the world’s leading opera houses and at the prestigious Salzburg Festival. Solveig Kringelborn has worked with many of the great conductors including Zubin Mehta, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Claudio Abbado and Christoph von Dohnányi. Her performances in leading roles in Eugene Onegin and Die Fledermaus have been broadcast all over the USA and Europe.
