Fabio Zanon

Brazilian guitarist Fabio Zanon is recognized as one of the leading guitarists of today, whose artistry has expanded the scope of the guitar in the musical scene. Educated in his native Brazil and in London, he came to international prominence in 1996, when he won the first prize at two major international guitar competitions (Tárrega in Spain and GFA in the USA) within a month. In 1997 he received the Moinho Santista Prize, the major artistic and scientific award in Brazil and in 2005 he as awarded the Czrlos Gomez Prize for being the best solo performer in Brazil.
