Britta Byström

Swedish composer Britta Byström (b. 1977). She began her composition studies in the early age of 14, winning her first competition two years later. She completed her studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (1995-2001). Byström has mainly composed orchestral works, but also chamber music and choral pieces as well as a chamber opera.
