Francois-Joseph Gossec

Belgian/French composer Francois-Joseph Gossec (1734-1829).
He was something of a French Haydn, famous for his skill in instrumentation, his many symphonies and operas and his exciting revolutionary music. His works were often inspired by French folk dances.
