Founded in 2002, the English Southbank Sinfonia (SbS) is an orchestra of young professionals now established as Britain’s leading orchestral academy. Every year a new orchestra of 32 young music conservatoire graduates, each supported by bursary, is selected for a full-time programme of public performance and professional development. The unrivalled range of repertoire and activity covered in the programme provides a springboard for the players into a fast-changing music profession.
