Peter Herrestahl

Norwegian violinist Peter Herrestahl (born 1970) graduated with honours from the Norwegian State Academy of Music. As a soloist he has appeared at numerous Norwegian and international festivals. Herrestahl is a prominent interpreter of contemporary music and in 2002 was named 'Performer of the Year' by the Norwegian Society of Composers. He teaches at the Norwegian State Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden.
