Robert Irvine



Scottish cellist Robert Irvine (b. 1963). In 1988 Principal cello with the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, touring all over the world. From 1990 post of Principal cellist with Scottish opera. Founder of the Chamber Group of Scotland together with Sally Beamish and James MacMillan. Professor of cello at RSAMO and Glasgow University.
