Yukie Nagai

Japanese pianist Yukie Nagai.
She was born in Tokyo and started playing the piano at the age of six years. Her academic piano studies took place in her home city between 1964 and 1973. She completed her studies with Hans Leygraf at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and with Wilhelm Kempff at his Beethoven courses at Positano. She won the first prize at the Geneva International Piano competition in 1977. Nagai, a world renowned concert pianist, now lives in Malmö, Sweden, married to Nils Stormby..
