Thomas Erskine

Scottish composer Thomas Erskine, Earl of Kelly (1732-1781).
He lived most of his life in Scotland - although he died in Brussels, while returning from an apparently unsuccessful visit to Spa for a cure. Erskine's early musical training in Scotland was enhanced by a 'Grand Tour', most of which was spent in Mannheim and subsequently in Paris.
