Andrew Litton

American conductor Andrew Litton (b. 1959).From 2003 principal conductor of the Norwegian Bergen Symphony Orchestra. In 2006 he stepped down as music direcor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra after twelve highly successful seasons. Litton continues as music director emeritus of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and also remains conductor laureate of Britain's Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, whose principal conductor he was between 1988 and 2004. Andrew Litton is also a frequent guest at the Minnesota Orchestra, of whose summer festival, the Sommerfest, he has been artistic director since 2003.
