Thomas Sanderling



German conductor Thomas Sanderling (b. 1942) has conducted extensively with orchestras both in North America and in Europe. In Japan he won the Grand Prix of the Osaka Critics twice in three years and, in 1992, became Principal Conductor of the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, where he is awarded the title Music Director Laureate for lifetime. 2004 Principal Guest conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
