The Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart

Gächinger Kantorei was founded by Helmuth Rilling in 1954 and is named after its birthplace, a small village in southern Germany. It now has around 200 members who are all trained singers and ensembles are put together for individual projects. Every year, around 50 concerts are on its agenda. Helmuth Rilling and his choir have participated in the most important music festivals all over the world. 'A fantastically disciplined choir: every word counts in its performance' (The Times).
