Yevgeny Sudbin

Yevgeny Sudbin, born in St. Petersburg in 1980, displayed exceptional musical talent from an early age. He entered the music-specialist school at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where he became a pupil of Lyubov Pevsner in 1987. In 1989, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Aussig. In 1990 his family moved to Germany, where he continued his studies at the Musik-Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin. Since 1997 Sudbin lives in London. MIDEM Classical Award 2008: Best Solo Recording.
