Cataldo Amodei



Sicilian-born Amodei Cataldo (1649-1693) entered Holy Orders in Naples. He held teaching positions as choirmaster and in colleges. Amodei wrote a considerable amount of sacred music. He resigned from his positions in the city 1688 and was succeeded by Allesandro Scarlatti.
