Vol 3 in the Bach Collegium Japan's Bach Cantata Cycle, and one of the ones I love the best, not only because I produced it myself, but because it contains "Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen" with that same, haunting chord progression as in the B Minor Mass's 'Crucifixus'. It also contains the Alto Cantata "Widerstehe doch der Sünde" with that unique counter-tenor, Yoshikazu Mera, the human nightingale. What a crying shame that he upped and left for pop music, where he became a superstar!
