Our star pianist Fredrik Ullén (who also works as a Professor of Neurology at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm) came up with this interesting combination of Messiaen's Petites esquisses d’oiseaux, where each movement is interspersed by a Liszt Consolation. I am personally not totally sure I'd like to listen to it in that order, but it is very easy to reprogramme the player to do what you like. Fantastic playing it is, nonetheless.
