Michael Daugherty



American composer Michael Daugherty (b1954).
He has been professor of composition at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance since 1991. Daugherty has developed a distinctive and eclectic idiom that fuses elements of jazz, rock, popular and contemporary music with traditional classical techniques.
