Caspar Diethelm



Swiss composer and conductor Caspar Diethelm (1926-1997) studied at the conservatory and church music school in Lucerne. Although he also made productive use of elements of contermporary modernism, his work as a composer was principally oriented towards more traditional models such as Paul Hindemith or Arthur Honegger, complemented by spiritual and non-European influences.
