Samuel Gardner



American composer Samuel Gardner (1891-1984).
Born in Ukraine, he emigrated to the USA together with his family when he was just one year old and became one fo the great names in the American violin tradition. He studied at the New York Institute (predecessor of the Juilliard School) and performed as a soloist with leading orchestras.
