Andrey Boreyko



Russian conductor Andrey Boreyko, born in St. Petersburg 1957. A strong advocate of contemporary music. Since 1997 he has been living and working largely in Western Europe. Chief conductor of the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and First Guest Conductor of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Since 2004 Chief Conductor of the Hamburg Symphony and the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Guest conductor of the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra.
