Kari Kropsu

Finnish conductor Kari Kropsu (b. 1966) studied the violin at the conservatory in Jyväskylä, Finland, and went on to study conducting at the Vilnius Musical Academy in Lithuania and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He obtained his conducting diploma with distinction in 1998. Kropsu has worked with various Finnish symphony orchestras and at the Finnish National Opera. Also an educator and violin teacher.
