Jean Sibelius’s *Romance in C major* for strings is a brief yet profound work, filled with Nordic warmth and subtle complexity. Lars-Erik Larsson's *Little Serenade* offers a neoclassical charm, free from heavy Romantic influence, while Einojuhani Rautavaara’s *The Fiddlers* explores Finnish folk themes through vivid, characterful miniatures. The album is performed by Musica Vitae, conducted by Wojciech Rajski, with oboist Helén Jahren.
