Davidovsky, Mario
American composer Mario Davidovsky, born in Argentina in 1934, moved to USA in 1960. Best known for his series of compositions Synchronisms (electro-acoustic music). In the mid 1970s he turned to music to be played on traditional instruments. Pulitzer Prize 1971, member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
