Dubois, Théodore
French composer Théodore Dubois (1837-1924) studied at the Paris Conservatoire, winning the Prix de Rome in 1861. In 1877 he succeeded Saint-Saëns as organist at the Madeleine, and in 1896 took over from his former composition teacher, Ambroise Thomas, as director of the Concervatoire.
