Bohemian composer Josef Bohuslav Foerster (1859-1951).
He met Brahms in the streets of Vienna. He knew Strauss, Mahler and Schoenberg. But he looked backwards in music, not least to Dvorák. In 1946 he was declared a National Composer in Checko-Slovakia.
