Holländer, Friedrich
German/American composer Friedrich Holländer (1896-1976). The hard-boiled German political cabaret style is well exemplified by Holländer's works for the cabaret stage in Berlin during the 1920s and early 1930s. In 1933 he emigrated to the USA and eventually became a prolific film-music composer in Hollywood.
