Irish composer Brian Knowles (b. 1946).
Studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music. In 1970 he formed the group 'Saffron'. Knowles subsequently became Musical Director of concerts worldwide with Roger Whittaker. Composer in Residence at The Royal School, Haslemere.
