Koch, Erland von
Swedish composer Erland von Koch (1910-2009).
His style is heavily influenced by Swedish folk music, hence much appreciated and played outside Sweden. One of Sweden's leading exponents of neo-classicism. Studied at the Conservatory of Music in Stockholm. Until he retired in 1975, he was professor of music theory at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
