Canadian composer Marjan Mozetich (b. 1948), in 2002 recipient of the Jan V. Matejcek concert music award in recognition of being the most performed and broadcast Canadian composer the the year. Mozetich, a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory of Music has received over the years numerous awards and grants, and is on the composition staff at the School of Music, Queen's University.
