Myers, Stanley
English composer Stanley Myers (1934-1993). Myers was one of Britain's most prolific film composers. Among his early successes were Kaleidoscope (1966) and Ulysses (1967). In the 1980s he composed the music for a number of films, earning a Cannes Award for his work on Prick up your ears (1987). The melancholy 'Cavatina' is without question his best known work.
