Japanese composer Hirohisa Shono (b.1957).
A composer of euphonic style whose representative works include pieces for saxophone. Shono does not use the Japanese elements with a philosophical or sentimental purpose. Not adhering to any formality, he belongs to the generation of Japanese composers for whom modernization already existed at their birth.
