Swedish conductor Lars Benstorp studied at the National College of Music in Stockholm from 1959 until 1964. He continued to study conducting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and in the United States. Since 1973 he taught at the National College of Music in Gothenburg and was conductor of the Gothenburg Concert Hall Choir between 1974 and 41982.
