Kosler, Zdenek
Czech conductor Zdenek Kosler (1928-1995) who early in his career worked with Leonard Bernstein. Music director of the 'Komische Oper' in Berlin 1965-1971. He has made guest apperances with major orchestras abroad. In 1990 Kosler received the highest national honour, the title 'National Artist', from the Czecho-Slovakian government, while winning awards abroad for his recordings.
