BR-KLASSIK presents two previously unreleased live recordings from the extraordinary partnership between conductor Bernard Haitink and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra — a collaboration spanning more than six decades that ended with Haitink's death in October 2021. The disc pairs Mahler's Fourth Symphony, documented in concert at Munich's Philharmonie im Gasteig in November 2005, with Shostakovich's Fifteenth Symphony from February 2015 in the same venue.
