With over 60 original written works to his name across a variety of orchestrations, composer Fred Broer invites audiences to experience the intimate corner of his repertoire with SELECTED PIANO MUSIC WORKS. Performed by pianist Joseph Havlat, a leading interpreter of new music, this program navigates myriad compositional frameworks, from the sporadic and colorful Impromptu to nostalgic American Folk Songs, “serious and sarcastic” music, and more.
