This album features a live recording of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, performed by pianist Yuha Hoshino alongside the Nagoya University of the Arts Student Orchestra with Nagoya University of the Arts Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Takao Tsukada, at the "Concerto no Kyoen" concert in February 2025. Reflecting on the masterpiece, Hoshino shares: "Rachmaninoff’s 3rd is a monumental work beyond words, combining grand passion with delicate melodies. Rather than focusing solely on brilliant technique, I placed great care into expressing Rachmaninoff's vast spectrum of emotions—its joy, its poignant sorrow, and everything in between. This piece feels like my life itself, and it holds a deeply special place in my heart. Filled with gratitude for everyone who supports me, I hope this performance resonates warmly with all who listen."
