Swedish Nordic Chamber Orchestra, founded in Sundsvall in 1990. Right from the start one of the orchestra's specialities has been in performing new compositions. The orchestra combines a regular concert schedule with its work in fostering music among children and young people. In 2005 the world-famous trombone soloist Christian Lindberg took over as principal conductor. With the orchestra he is keen to combine the classical repertoire with a survey of Scandinavian music, both old and new.
