Black, Jeffrey
Australian baritone Jeffrey Black (born 1962) made his European and UK débuts as Harlekin and Sid (Albert Herring, Glyndebourne). At the age of 24 he performed Figaro (The Barber of Seville) at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. He made his Metropolitan Opera début in 1995 as Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro). Black is an accomplished recitalist.
