Claudia BuderThe accordionist Claudia Buder was born in Leipzig, and studied in Weimar and Essen. She has been a prizewinner at national and international competitions and teaches at various educational establishments in Germany and abroad; she is a professor at the colleges of music in Weimar and Münster. As a soloist she has appeared with orchestras including the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Swedish Chamber Orchestra, and she has enjoyed a long collaboration with the Ensemble Modern. She has premièred numerous works by composers such as HK Gruber, Georg Katzer, Steffen Schleiermacher, Rebecca Saunders and Annette Schlünz.
