Karl-Magnus FredrikssonKarl-Magnus Fredriksson (born 1968) has established himself as one of Sweden’s leading baritones. At the Royal Swedish Opera the parts he has sung include the title role in Eugene Onegin, Marcello in La Bohème, Figaro in The Barber of Seville and the Unknown in Hans Gefors’ Christina. As a concert singer he has appeared with such conductors as Sir Colin Davis, Riccardo Chailly, Neeme Järvi and Sir John Eliot Gardiner in music by composers including Mahler, Sibelius and Bach. In 2004 Karl-Magnus Fredriksson was appointed hovsångare (court singer).
