Hungarian violinist András Kiss (b. 1943) studied from 1960 at the Liszt Academy, with further studies at the Leningrad Conservatory. Prizewinner at the Leipzig International Bach Competition in 1968, and the same year appointed to the Liszt Academy, where he became a teacher. Kiss has performed regularly in Hungary and has toured Europe, the US and Canada.
