Ryabchikov, Victor
Russian pianist Victor Ryabchikov, born in Tashkent, studied at the Music Concervatoire. He moved to Moscow in the 1970s, studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. In 1992 Ryabchikov was voted 'Pianist of the Year' by the Russian press organisation APN. He is specialized in seldom heard or forgotten works for piano. Cofounder of the Glinka Music Society in 1997.
