English organist and composer David Sanger (b. 1947) became well-known as an organ recitalist when h won first prize in two international competitions, St. Albans, England, in 1969 and Kiel, Germany, in 1972. Sanger has toured in many countries as a recitalist. For some years professor of organ at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He is UK:s most influential teacher of the organ.
