English mezzo-soprano Susan Bickley is firmly established as one of the most versatile mezzo-sopranos, equally at home in the opera house or the concert platform, with a wide repertory encompassing the Baroque, the great 19th century roles and the music of today. In the UK, Susan Bickley has worked with the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, Scottish Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Glyndebourne Touring Opera and Grange Park Opera. Abroad, engagements include Paris Opera, Hong Kong Festival, San Francisco Opera, Flanders Opera, Netherlands Opera and Berlin Staatsoper.
