Neal Davies

The bass-baritone Neal Davies was born in Newport, Wales, and studied at the Royal Academy of Music, of which he was made a Fellow in 2003. Winner of the Lieder Prize at the 1991 Cardiff Singer of the World, he has since appeared at the major opera houses in Europe and the USA. His numerous concert engagements have included appearances with the Cleveland and Philharmonia Orchestras, the Gabrieli Consort, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Davies is also a regular guest at the Edinburgh Festival and at the BBC Proms.
